Acupuncture Relief
Acupuncture is the use of inserting very fine needles into specific pathways of the body called meridians. This triggers a cascade of neurological responses to release certain neurotransmitters and chemicals in the body, such as endorphins and enkephalin. These known natural painkillers of the body are similar to morphine whose functions are to provide relief of pain.

Acupuncture is based on the principle that to be healthy, tissues and organs need proper supply of oxygen and nutrients that the blood carries throughout the body. The human body is mapped with specific points where a block in the flow of blood can occur. A method of diagnosis from a trained Acupuncturist will find and remove these blockages to increase the flow of blood to allow tissues and organs to heal.
Today, Acupuncture has become an integral part of medical pain therapy in treating common conditions including but not limited to back pain, carpel tunnel, torticollis, sciatica, migraines, and premenstrual related pain. It has proven to be effective in other areas as well, such as stress, anxiety, fertility, acid reflux, hypo/hyperthyroidism, and slowing down the aging process of wrinkles and fine lines.
